To start your year off with a major dose of album cover art news, I'd invite you to take a look a the summary just posted of all of the items reported on during the month of December. In addition to the announcements of both the nominees for Grammy Awards in the packaging categories and the 2015 inductees into the Album Cover Hall of Fame, you'll find details on the many interviews, book releases, museums and gallery exhibitions and articles on a wide range of album art-related topics, such as auctions, album covers featuring emojis and characters from Star Wars, the Smithsonian Institution's new effort to crowd-source rock & roll photos and much, much more. You can also review many of the "Best of" and "Worst of" 2015 lists that have been published (or, you can wait a couple of days until I post my annual summary and analysis of them) - always an interesting study in what the critics are finding in the world of record cover imagery.
Please share with your friends, relatives and anyone else you think might be interested - enjoy - https://albumcoverhalloffame.wordpress.com/2016/01/01/album-cover-news-recap-for-december-2015/
