Great album... i wanna view that video

"After they had reached a certain degree of fame (i.e., right after their first album), they did not appear on the cover of any other album ... "

Not to be a stickler, but the band also appears on the cover of "Ummagumma" and (in very tiny form) "A Saucerful of Secrets."

Mike G

You are correct in both cases - I don't know what I was thinking in the case of "Ummagumma" (they're very prominently displayed on the cover) and while still tiny (and without Syd B., of course), they were on "A Saucerful..." too.
These were Storm T./Hipgnosis designs, too, so I should have known better.
Thanks for the note.

The band was not fond of having their picture on the cover of their albums.

One of my favortie bands of all times

Pink Floyd is one of the best bands ever. For those of us who initialized with works from "The dark side of moon" ahead, it was a little strange to face records like this one. But with time, you find out that they were great from the very beginning.

I really like that video. I'm now bemused that I can get ANY video clip from the game. That is really, really cool. I really love the song "You Are My Sanctuary" from bits from the beginning, and it's good to be able to hear it again and again.

Dear Jordan 5 - please stop spamming my blog - it serves no purpose and does nothing to further the conversation.
Thank you - Mike G
